LEGO BRINGS THE POWER
OF A MOVIE STUDIO...
...TO EIGHT YEAR OLDS...

Who could be better to write a tutorial on filmmaking than Steven Spielberg? Who would you want to provide editing software expertise besides Pinnacle Systems, provider of professional editing equipment? And who could possibly be better to make the whole thing easy enough to be used by eight year olds than LEGO Media? Introducing LEGO Studios, a very real movie editing suite with a very real camera, but designed for and targeted at children ages 8-16. I have the feeling that interest in the LEGO Stuidos package will reach far above the targeted '16' years. It looks like ageless fun and a whole lot of editing power for the MSRP of $179.99.

The LEGO Studios Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set includes an instruction booklet with 'Tips & Tricks for Movie Making,' with tips from none other that Steven Spielberg himself. All of Steven Spielberg's proceeds from sales will be donated to the non-profit Starbright Foundation and Shoah Foundation.

The MovieMaker Set's specially designed movie editing software consists of a real editing suite, similar to professional editing software, but with interfaces easy enough for an 8 year old to understand. The projected learning time to produce your first (short) movie is about 20 minutes. Included tutorials provide inspirational material with help, tips, tricks and examples of movies which can be made with the system.
