Baton Rouge, Meet Wienermobile
Company: GameVortex.com
Product: Oscar Mayer Wienermobile
If you're in Baton Rouge this weekend and looking for something, well, a bit out of the ordinary, you may want to check out the very interesting, very custom vehicle making its way around Baton Rouge as part of its larger tour across the country.

Alexandra "Atta Dog Alex" Connett and Stephen "Steevie Bunder" Johnson will be holding events at different grocery stores in the area and would love for you to drop by to take pictures with the iconic promotional vehicle and enjoy some fun activities and get some cool Wienermobile-related swag, such as stickers and the much coveted Wiener Whistle. (Ask for it by name!) Check out local Skylar Dewerff in the below pic mugging it up with Alex and Stephen as an Oscar Mayer wiener.

In addition, now until April 4th, fans have a chance to register to win Oscar Mayer's newest iPhone device, the "Wake Up and Smell the Bacon" - which allows an Oscar Mayer iPhone app to use the smell of bacon to wake you up in the morning. Ingenious.

I would have thought it was an April Fool's prank, if not ending on the 4th and being about an add-on device, rather than simply an app that claims to emit smell. It appears to be a promotional and branded implementation of the Scentee device (see link below). You can check out the official webpage for the device in the links below and... who knows... we may see if we can get one for a hardware review. The technology would make for interesting (and more immersive) games and what game wouldn't be better with (the smell of) bacon?
