Let The Gamers Be Heard

Ever wished there was a way you could express your views as a gamer to the videogame industry? How about to the naysayers who blame all of the world's horrors on games. Well, now there's an outlet for expressing your feelings. It's called the Video Game Players Association.

Founded in 2001 by Sean Underwood, Sr., the VGPA strives to be the 'Voice of the Gamer', an organization that will change the way videogames and the people that play them are viewed. The VGPA wants to dispel the idea that games are harmful to society and have no redeeming value, or that gamers are all children. Among their goals are being a force that can not only be heard by the politicians, but one that can promote the positive aspects of the videogame industry.

We'll be keeping our ears open for more info and we'll pass it along to you. For now, if you'd like more info, check out the VGPA's website here.
