Wipeout
Score: 92%
ESRB: Everyone
Publisher: Psygnosis
Developer: Psygnosis
Media: CD/1
Players: 1 - 2
Genre: Racing

Graphics & Sound:
The graphics in Wipeout are terrific. Although there is some pop-up, sleek ships and beautiful backgrounds make it hardly noticeable. The soundtrack is packed with cool techno music from the Chemical Brothers and many others, although there is very little in the way of sound effects during gameplay. I give Wipeout a high rating in this category.

Gameplay:
In Wipeout, you have your choice of Practice, Time Trial, or Championship levels, as well as your choice of hovercraft ship styles. As you glide along the track, you can stall your rivals with ammo you pick up along the way. You can only have one item at a time during the race, so use them wisely. Bottom line: experience is everything! So... play, play, play.

Difficulty:
The most difficult skill to master in Wipeout is steering your ship. It will take some getting used to, but practice makes perfect.

Game Mechanics:
Just typical controller settings in Wipeout, but for added excitement, try replacing your standard controller with a mouse.
