Sales, New Games Hit PSN
Company: SCEA
Product: PSN Update
If you're still on the fence about the whole "downloadable games" concept or just looking to pick up a new game, but spent most of your money on gas, Sony is having a sale on PSN.

From now (July 25) until July 31, Pain, PixelJunk Monsters, High Velocity Bowling, High Stakes Poker and Rocketmen: Axis of Evil are priced at $4.99 rather than the normal $9.99.

Elsewhere on PSN, Sony has released Siren: Blood Curse, an episodic survival horror game. You can purchase each of the four "Chapter Packs" for $14.99 each, or get the whole thing for $40. Also, 1942: Joint Strike, a revamp of the classic arcade shooter has been released alongside a demo for PixelJunk: Eden, a... well, I'll just let you play it and figure out how to describe it.

A number of new themes and wallpapers, including a Street Fighter IV theme, and a slate of new video updates, like a "Making of..." feature on Bionic Commando: Rearmed are now available for download.
