Function: The tactile response of the Tilt Force 2 when used in the standard style is on par with other Dual Shock compatible controllers. It?s not necessarily superior to other controllers, but it does work well. The tilt sensing feature is quite refreshing, however. The controller responds to tilting it forward, backward, left, and right, and is completely adjustable... both in range of movement, sensitivity, and ?at rest? position. This allows you to ?tweak? the response of the pad to fit both your personal style and the specific game you are playing. This goes not only for the tilt feature, but for the joysticks as well. In addition, you can swap up/down between the tilt feature and the lead joystick... which in turn, can be chosen as the left or right stick. I have never seen a controller as configurable as the Tilt Force 2. One size REALLY fits all!

Performance: This is a sweet controller. The Tilt Force 2 is my first experience with a Pelican accessories product. But based on the Tilt Force 2, their products are both functional and nicely designed. This is one of those aftermarket controllers which could easily become a person?s ?favorite.? You know... the one you always insist you use when playing a game against your friends... the controller that NO ONE else is allowed to use. It?s a die-hard gamer thing, and this controller could definitely be a candidate. (God, I hope my Nyko Scorpion doesn?t read this...) As a Dual Force analog controller, it is very easy to get used to. The Tilt Force 2 is comfortably shaped, and responds nicely. With the tilt function, it takes some time to get used to thinking ?tilt? instead of ?push,? but since both methods work in tandem, this rarely has a detrimental effect on gameplay. After playing with it for a few times, the tilt feature becomes second nature, and you?ll wonder what you did before you had it! Furthermore, with the unbelievably wide range of tweaks you can make to its performance, the Tilt Force 2 can be adjusted to play the way you want it to. This is a very solid controller, all around!

Drawbacks & Problems:: Two things. Because of the uniqueness the Tilt Force 2 offers, it will take a little time getting used to it. Therefore, it may not be for everyone. However, IF you?re a die hard gamer, you should give the Tilt Force 2 a try. It?s NICE.
