FIRST LOOK:
CLIVE BARKER'S UNDYING

Clive Barker's Undying Horror Tales Come To PC Clive Barker is a master of horror, and soon enough Dreamworks Interactive will be bringing us some homemade horror to enjoy on our PCs. Clive Barker's Undying is set in the '20s in Ireland (shades of Lovecraft, anyone?) and you will be playing as Magnus, brought back to the ancestral abode to keep his undead siblings from killing him. How sweet. There will be five separate quests, each culminating in an encounter with one of his not-quite-dead brothers and sisters. Along with the rather annoying brethren, Magnus will have to deal with a competitor, Kiesinger, who is after all the power himself. Tsk. Utilizing the Unreal Tournament engine (mmm . . .), Undying is shaping up to be quite the hellfest. And with Clive Barker's demented imagination behind it all, one can only imagine what sort of horrors will crop up. Soon enough, though, we won't have to rely on our imagination -- Dreamworks will be bringing us the real deal. Sounds good to me.
