FIRST LOOK:
PBA TOUR BOWLING 2001

At E3 2000, Bethesda Softworks was showing off a work in progress, PBA Tour Bowling 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast. PBA Tour Bowling 2001 will feature realistic physics, 3D graphics and online multiplayer capabilities. Even at E3 it looked pretty good, without some of the graphic features that will be added before it ships (such as reflections). Utilizing a 'swinging meter' interface (similar to ones found in golf games and the like), PBA Tour Bowling 2001 takes speed, spin, angle and starting point into account, for true bowling physics simulation that's easy to play, but tough to master. In fact, the lanes in PBA Tour Bowling 2001 will actually degrade, showing wear and tear the more the player bowls!

PBA Tour Bowling 2001 has an ESRB rating of 'E' (Everyone) and was designed to provide hours of realistic bowling entertainment, while helping novices and pros alike improve existing bowling skills.

PBA Bowling Tour 2001 is scheduled for a October 2000 release on the Sega Dreamcast system.
