There's good news and bad news. The good news is that the 70-day war is over and there's but a few remaining resistance fighters. The bad news is...You lead a small band of resistance fighters in an effort to overthrow an alien race known as the 'Taurans', who are bent on enslaving the human race and having their way with our precious little planet. Victory will be far from easy. You'll have to use stealth, as the Tauran forces are technologically superior. (They won, remember?) If you manage to stick around long enough to capture some of the alien's technology, you may just have a (slim) chance...
The Dreamland Chronicals: Freedom Ridge is an upcoming turn-based strategy game for the PlayStation 2 and the PC. Developed by Mythos Games, makers of X-COM and Magic & Mayhem, Freedom Ridge provides a platform for Mythos to use what they've learned to produce a game with the addictive, innovative gameplay that Mythos' fans have come to expect.
Freedom Ridge is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2000 on PC and PlayStation 2. (Although, SCEA has not yet approved this title.)
