This year at E3, SEGA made sure to cover the big three genres in the realm of sports. First of all was football, and nothing says SEGA Sports like NFL 2K4. New to this game will be a Play Calling system that is sure to quicken your decisions on the field. Of course, the excellent commentary, animations, and online play are all included to make sure you get a truly authentic NFL experience.

On the courtside of things, SEGA announced two titles that are going to give the competition a stiff time. NBA 2K4, known for its elaborate passing system, was there in force this year. This iteration boasts better graphics, great commentary, and of course total control of your players to enable you to drive the lane like no other.

College fans will be pleased to hear that there will be another rendition of their college basketball franchise, NCAA College Basketball 2K4. This game offers all of the great features of NBA 2K4, but with an authentic college atmosphere full of deep seeded rivalries and plenty of competitive attitude.

For the fans up North, NHL 2K4 should keep you busy for another year. This title is going to truly bring the hockey experience into your living room. Players will have full control over the game, even being able to muck-it-up along the boards to draw a whistle or fight for possession.

No sports fan can go wrong with any of these games. They are all done masterfully, but you'll have to own a Xbox or PS2 to play them. Sorry Nintendo fans, you don't get this chunk of SEGA. Look for these games in the fall.
