Insomniac Games, creators of the hit game Spyro the Dragon, are making a sequel to last year's awesome platformer Ratchet and Clank. This comic filled game featured two lovable heroes, a gun-toting, gadget-prone fuzzy animal and a small, but clever robot sidekick. Together they took over the platforming genre by storm, and have made enough of an impact to merit a second title in their names.

Though the two main characters are the same, fans will notice big changes in Going Commando. First of all, there is a new character growth system that dabbles in the RPG realm. This system allows players to gain more HP by defeating enemies. The enemies will also grow in strength, and by the end of the game, fights are guaranteed to call for more strategy.

But what would Ratchet and Clank be without their weapons? The arsenal that players collect can be upgraded, and there will be more than 50 weapons and gadgets available by the end of the game.

An all new sci-fi story line, tons of mini-games that can be played for experience, and a truckload of Insomniac humor are sure to bring this sequel far past the point its predecessor reached. The only bad part is that you'll have to wait until November to play it. Don't fret, though, the wait seems like it will be well worth it.
