DATE: 2003-05-26 23:16:04

UbiSoft, famous for its stock in such games as Rayman, Myst, and the Tom Clancy line has some excellent additions to its line up this year. From games that personify UbiSoft?s most popular lines, to some new titles that have amazing potential, UbiSoft is making a statement in 2003 and 2004.

Batman - Rise of Sin Tzu

In the past, Batman has not faired too well in any of the console or PC games. Nevertheless, a new era will come soon when Batman - Rise of Sin Tzu reaches completion. Batman and his clan of followers are faced with 12 levels of fighting through some of Gotham City?s worst villains inside of the toughest streets in the city. This game incorporates a two player cooperative game play reminiscent of the arcade action games that were popular in the early nineties.

Perhaps the most intriguing fact about Batman - Rise of Sin Tzu is the introduction of a new villain in the Batman universe. UbiSoft worked with Jim Lee, famous Batman artist, to create a new villain for this game. Sin Tzu, a cold and evil enemy, is a master of war and desires to conquer everything in this world starting with the city of Gotham and Batman.

Ghost Recon: Island Thunder and Rainbow Six 3

Tom Clancy does double time this season with the dual development of Ghost Recon: Island Thunder and Rainbow Six 3.

Rainbow Six 3, the third installment in the wildly popular Rainbow Six series, builds off of the popularity of the series, bringing Team RAINBOW into areas of the world such as London, Cayman Islands and Rio de Janeiro. This sequel to the popular squad based action game brings some enhancements to the graphics and real-time command system. It boasts some pretty excellent features as players can even play online through Xbox Live.

Ghost Recon: Island Thunder is a brand new companion to the original Ghost Recon. This Xbox live compatible title puts players back in Cuba in the year 2009. As a part of an elite team of U.S. Army Green Berets, you must help in destroying the rebellion forces and secure election for a free Cuba.

Both titles feature extensive multiplayer and online content. Xbox live support includes downloadable maps and missions.

Uru - Ages Beyond Myst

Ubisoft is entering the online market with a successor to its popular Myst line, Uru - Ages Beyond Myst. As the next saga in the Myst universe, Uru comes equipped with a stunning and captivating single player adventure. However, the real immersive nature of Uru is the ability to directly join the Myst universe. An evolving world of adventures and experiences guides players though the ages of Myst as players engage in a massively multiplayer experience like no other.

XIII

Perhaps UbiSoft?s most anticipated title, XIII is a cel-shaded action masterpiece. With the President of the United States of America assassinated, you control an amnesic person who is somehow involved with the murder. A quest unfolds as you try to uncover clues to your past and your memory. With flashy graphics and presentation, XIII plays and feels like a truly interactive comic book.

With the inclusion of other titles such as Prince Of Persia - The Sands of Time, Warlords 4, and The Matrix Online, UbiSoft is primed for a successful year.
