OPERATION:

Fraggin' Ain't Easy, Fanboy...

DATE: 2003-05-26 15:06:41

Lobo has long been a popular anti-hero among comic books fans. Foul-mouthed, irreverent and ultra-violent, the Main Man has mean streak bigger than the entire galaxy. But what would you expect from someone who took out his entire planet as a school experiment.

Lobo is a third-person shooter starring the Main Man himself in his first video game. It turns out that Lobo is broke, which has him pretty fragged off, and his foul mood won't change until he has a chance to pull off the biggest score in the galaxy. As an intergalactic bounty hunter, he's set his sites on taking out the ten most wanted criminals in the galaxy. Armed with anything that can be used as a weapon, from fists to knives to guns, Lobo is out to run roughshod over all the punk, flunkies and scuzzmonkeys in a brawl spanning from one side of the galaxy to the next. It's Lobo's game and you play by Lobo's rules.

Lobo will feature over-the-top linear gameplay design that will allow players to take on the game the way they want. Finish everything, or skip a few side quests -- it's all up to you. As Lobo travels through the game's 10 destructible levels, he'll face off with skanky lackeys and foul criminal masterminds. But he won't be alone, because at his side will be an arsenal of BFGs (Big Fraggin' Guns), grenades, and rocket-powered motorcycles. In addition, Lobo will have the ability to transform into freakish mutants like ghosts, skeletons and other bizarre animals.

If goody-goody heroes aren?t your thing, take a ride with the Main Man instead, fanboy.
