OPERATION:

I Need More Mojo!

Few puzzle games were shown on the floor this E3, but if there were any number of them, they would have a hard time competing with a game like Mojo. This game is basically Marble Madness on 3D and some other type of drug. Players control a ball that they can roll around the level, smashing blocks and grabbing power-ups along the way.

Every move the player makes slowly drains their Mojo meter, their countdown to death; run out of this and it's all over. There are also a few 2 player modes, including cooperative and opposing. One of the coolest features of this game is the level editor, which allows players to create or recreate anything the game can handle. This mode alone assures limitless replay value to Mojo, a trait not seen in many of today's games.

With 100 levels, a value price tag of around $20, and endless depth to the gameplay, Mojo could be that game that keeps people glued to the TV for hours on end. Even the graphics, not a staple of most puzzle games, are done extremely well, presenting three different locales with stunning detail. This fall seems like it's going to be a great season for games, thanks largely in part to titles like Mojo.
