OPERATION:

Wallace & Gromit And Ice Nine Major Titles For Bam!

DATE: 2003-05-22 11:58:54

Bam! Entertainment has two new games to front their line, Wallace & Gromit and Ice Nine, as well as several other good titles to put out on the streets.

Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo puts you in the paws of Gromit, Wallace the inventor's dog. You travel around the zoo saving baby animals from the evil Feather McGraw, the penguin antagonist from the claymation British show. In this platformer, you run around the zoo calling Wallace to fix objects in the levels, after collecting enough nuts and bolts of course, and shooting evil monkeys with a banana gun, Wallace’s first invention in the game. The loveable duo is looking great and will appear on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube.

Ice Nine is Bam!’s stealth/action game where you take on the role of a young CIA agent in training, Tom Carter. You are charged with stopping the Ice Nine computer virus from being released. To do this you must use stealth, speed, and espionage and take out or mingle with enemy soldiers. Sounds a bit like the recent box office flick, The Recruit? It should, as much of the game takes place in The Farm. Ice Nine is coming out only for the PlayStation 2 and GameBoy Advance.

The next version of the classic kids game series Carmen Sandiego is being released by Bam! Entertainment with Carmen Sandiego: To Track a Thief on the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The player will travel to nine different locations in order to catch the sly thief. You take on the role of Cole Gannon and move across five continents in this game.

Bam! is also releasing a new Powerpuff Girls title called Powerpuff Girls: Relish Rampage, Pickled Edition. In this GameCube exclusive title Mojo Jojo has come up with a scheme to get all of Townsville under his mind control. As the girls, you will have to fight aliens throughout the 3D world of Townsville and in the Pickle Edition you will have three mini games and an extra mission at your disposal. The Pickle Edition extras are not found in the PS2’s version of Relish Rampage.

Stay tuned for reviews as the games get released.
