OPERATION:

The Big Green Man On The Tiniest Screen

DATE: 2003-05-04 20:06:25

With a fan base comparable to Spiderman, Batman, or Superman, this year is shaping up to be a remarkable year for The Hulk. The Hulk's popularity will only increase this summer as tensions mount for the film scheduled for release in June. The portable gaming market will not be left out in The Hulk's inevitable boost. The Incredible Hulk, for the Game Boy Advance, brings the green-skinned, massive superhero to the small (extra small) screen.

Based on the original Pre-Silver Age Hulk, The Incredible Hulk focuses on events and tales that comic book aficionados dream to relive. Doctor Bruce Banner, due to some freak accident from exposure to gamma radiation, is transformed into a three thousand pound fury-filled monster who is targeted not only by the US military, but also a number of powerful foes such as the Executioner and Tyrannus. Players will be treated to 33 levels of military compounds, barren deserts, caves, and other settings in an isometric three dimensional atmosphere. Objectives, ranging from thought inducing puzzles to rage filled fury-fits, keeps The Incredible Hulk's game play interesting and exiting.

Along with a unique ability for the Hulk's powers to grow more powerful depending on his anger, The Incredible Hulk will also feature a head-to-head match between two to four players via link cable. Regardless of whether players play alone or with others, The Incredible Hulk is surfacing as a great addition to any comic book fan's list, and should help control the anger inside of us all.
